Financially supporting disabled learners to complete a 12-month course through eDEAF, equipping them with the necessary skills to successfully enter the job market
eDEAF is South Africa’s leading provider of deaf skills development training, operating nationally with well-equipped facilities designed for optimal learning. Training is conducted in South African Sign Language by experienced deaf facilitators, ensuring accessible education. Committed to empowerment, eDEAF aims to reduce reliance on social grants by equipping deaf individuals with skills for sustainable employment, contributing to economic growth.

Supporting Akkerdoppies Pre-Primary School through a monetary donation and making a meal for its staff and kids
Akkerdoppies Pre-Primary is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education to children from underserved communities. By offering affordable, accessible learning opportunities, the school plays a vital role in preparing young learners for formal education.Its mission is to nurture and educate children during their formative years, equipping them with the foundational skills, confidence, and emotional resilience needed to navigate everyday challenges and thrive in structured learning environments. Through this work, Akkerdoppies aims to break the cycle of inequality and empower children to embrace the full potential of education as they grow.

Supporting the Lighthouse Baby Shelter by donating baby formula, nappies and other necessities
The Lighthouse Baby Shelter provides a safe haven for babies and children who have been abandoned. The shelter provides these babies with a home environment filled with love, care and attention until they are fostered or adopted. The shelter also has a door in the garden wall, called the “Moses Basket” where unwanted babies can be placed anonymously, which has saved many lives.

Setting up a mobile vegetable garden for the Stellenbosch Night Shelter
Since 17 October 1991, the Stellenbosch Night Shelter (SNS) has provided overnight accommodation, meals, and essential services to those in need. For a small fee, residents receive two daily meals, access to ablution facilities, and social work support. This fee encourages responsibility as part of the rehabilitation process. Admission requires sobriety, an ID document, and adherence to SNS rules. Recognising SNS’s impact, the Stellenbosch Municipality entrusted them with managing a second shelter.
A registered NPO, SNS currently accommodates 30 men and 12 women, continuing its mission of support and empowerment.

Supporting New Jerusalem Children’s Home through a monetary donation and participating in the Mandela Day Ladles of Love initiative
Founded in September 2000 by sisters Anna and Phina Mojapelo, New Jerusalem offers a safe, nurturing home for abandoned, abused, orphaned or HIV‑affected children aged 0 to 18. Located on a donated 26,000 m² smallholding in President Park, Midrand, the facility accommodates around 120 children and includes nurseries, dormitories, a Montessori preschool, and communal dining and play areas.
Ladles of Love is a South African food relief charity founded in 2014 by Danny Diliberto. What began as a single soup kitchen in Cape Town has expanded into a movement serving over 30,000 meals daily and more than 44.5 million meals to date. Their Dignity Kitchens in Cape Town and Johannesburg provide nutritious hot meals to thousands of vulnerable people each week. Beyond immediate relief, they strengthen food security through programmes like Feed the Soil (composting food‑waste to support urban farmers) and Realise a Dream, empowering food entrepreneurs.

Ubuntu provides young athletes with coaching, academic support, and mentorship to help them succeed in sports and life.
